Engine Guards

Not only are engine guards and frame sliders a great way to improve the look of your bike, they can protect your bike for serious damage if you get in an accident or your bike tips over.

Here I scraped up my bike when it tipped over on uneven ground. I had to replace the clutch lever and the mirror. Not cheap.....wish I would have had an engine guard.

They are good investments and come in many styles so shop around.  You can find many deals online and at motorcycle shows.

Not only do they protect the bike, they protect YOU from getting mashed between the bike and the road, protect from getting crushed or burned from being trapped under the bike either sliding or at rest.

I was riding in Korea in and got caught between a bus and a car (me spittling lanes) and the engine guard touched the bus and wisdom came to me and said, "The bus will win, if you do not slow down and back off and give the bus the right away, before it is too late." I slowed down and the bus moved on and the car as well. In Korea the two wheelers has the right away (regardless.....)
