Anyone out there have any suggestion on how to start on steep hills or going slowing around sharp banked uphill curves?

The MSF video during the classroom portion said to use either the hand or foot brake to overcome the force of gravity when stopped on a hill. Start normally otherwise.

As for going slowly around sharp, banked uphill curves, I don't have any suggestions. I've seen riders lean opposite the direction of the bank to remain upright enough to prevent too sharp a turn. That's a technique where I need some practice, like freeway transitions during rush hour traffic jams. It may just be an intuitive operation where little thought is needed. Do what it take to keep the bike moving in the intended path. I'd appreciate input from others with more experience in this area.
