I've seen a few advertisements for the lifetime air filters. They are not cheap and I am wondering if they are worth it? Do any of you own one? What are your thoughts.

I don't have one for the cycle but I do have them in the Grand Prix and the S-10. They do help with fuel mileage ( well If I'd keep my foot out of the gas they would)LOL. They do seem to help a little with the horsepower like they claim. Easy to take care of. remove it once or twice a year, rinse it out with the garden hose leave it sit in the sun to dry, reapply to oil put it back in. I've got a regular paper filter I put in the car if I want to drive it before the K&N one goes back in and I can definitely tell a difference. Both filters have been around for about 10 years. (the car has 250,000miles)I think they were worth the $35 I gave for each. Hope it helps.
